Our Summer Card allows ordinary access to MiST museums for 2 adults during the period from June 20 to August 20.
NB: Free admission for children under the age of 16 when accompanied by an adult.

The Coastal Museum of South Trøndelag (Kystmuseet i Sør-Trøndelag)

Immerse yourself in everything from coastal culture and fascinating local history to modern aquaculture. Get to know the People of Flatvika in the exhibition about an extended family living on a small farm somewhere on the Trøndelag coast in the 1920s. Try a trip on a RIB out to a proper fish farm, where you can feed the jumping salmon. Adults and children alike will get answers to any questions they might have about salmon farming
*Trips to the fish farm must be booked in advance and will require payment of an additional fee.

Røros Museum

The mining exhibition entitled “Kobberverket” (The Copper Works) in the Smeltery building, shows how mining and smelting took place in Røros in the 1700s and 1800s. You can learn about the history of the mining town on a guided tour (Bergstadvandring) and you will also have the opportunity of taking a trip down into the pitch dark mine. *An additional charge is payable for guided tours of the town and the Olavsgruva mine.

Visit the instrument collection and immerse yourself in music. Join a guided tour of the Main Building where your guide will demonstrate and play historical instruments for you. You may also enjoy the “Music in a Box” exhibition, about mechanical musical instruments used in Norway. Children’s Ringve is open daily, and here the kids can make instruments, play music and join a guided tour of the museum designed especially for them.
